6602 Series Inserters
DOVER, NH: Formax introduces the 6602 Series Inserters, the latest upgrade to the dependable 6600 Series. The 6602 Series offers a variety of features and new options to make your document processing more streamlined than ever. The new full-color touchscreen control panel flips down and has a reversible display. Standard features include AutoSetTM which automatically measures paper lengths, envelope sizes and fold lengths, a reverse-output power stacker which holds up to 500 filled envelopes in their original order, and up to 25 programmable job settings.
When it comes to power, the 6602 Series truly shines with the flexibility to process forms of various lengths and thicknesses, and speed of up to 4,300 pieces per hour and up to 80,000 pieces per month. The powerful folding system accurately folds up to ten sheets of paper in half-fold and up to eight in tri-fold mode. Two, four and six-station configurations can be adapted to meet individual needs, with a combination of standard and special feeders, designed for glossy or thicker stock. The top-loading envelope hopper holds up to 500 envelopes, while the feeders hold 325 sheets each. Cascade Mode links all feeders together, for a total hopper capacity of up to 1,950 sheets.
New options include one or two Production Feeders which offer the combined ability to feed up to 750 BREs or 2,400 sheets, a High-Capacity Envelope Hopper and Output Conveyor, each with a capacity of up to 1,000 envelopes, a Thin Booklet Feeder capable of inserting booklets up to 2.5 mm thick, plus a variety of OMR features, including Dual-Track OMR which ensures the highest level of document security. Each configuration is also available as a "B" model for inserting bottom-address documents into top-flap envelopes.
